As Seen on
Our mission is to redefine the standard of beauty because no one should feel less than because of the kink of their curl or the color of their skin. All hair is beautiful hair!
Our dolls combat internalized racism and colorism by teaching girls natural hair care through dolls with hair they can practice on and a book to guide them. We are getting to the root of the problem: diversity and knowledge! Many young girls resort to using dangerous chemicals and heat on their hair because they don't know how to care for their hair naturally. We are changing that.
Our mission is to educate children and mothers about the joy and beauty of natural hair.

Meet our dolls! They come in different skin tones, hair textures and facial features to represent the beauty of the African Diaspora. Our first four dolls are Zoé, Gaïana, Dara and Marinda.
Our founder Yelitsa Jean-Charles gave a TedxTalk exploring the issues of race, identity and diversity. She looks at the options society provides to girls of color and considers a more diverse and inclusive future powered by women entrepreneurs.
