I wanted to give a quality update for anyone on the fence about buying one of the curlfriends! I’ve had Marisol for over 2 months now and her condition is still perfect. I was very worried I may have damaged her curl pattern by doing mini box braids all over head and leaving them in for several weeks, but after taking them out and wetting and conditioning her hair, it looks exactly the same texture as before! I don’t know what magic they use to create these dolls’ hair, but it is so lifelike and seemingly impossible to damage. I use all of my own products on her hair and they work perfectly! She is truly a mini-me, and I cannot praise this company enough! The only change I’ve noticed since I first got Marisol is that her limbs have loosened up slightly, which is good because she came very stiff and hard to move. Now she’s perfect! 10/10 would recommend a curlfriend, you won’t be disappointed!

The dolls and all other outfits are wonderful!

These dolls are truly a blessing and I would have given anything to have one when I was growing up!! I didn’t learn how to take care of my hair until I was 17 because my mom is white and has straight hair unlike mine. Marisol is beautiful, she looks exactly like the picture, and her curl pattern is identical to mine (3b-3c). After the first wash her hair hasn’t shed at all and I’ve spent many hours styling her hair. These dolls provide endless possibilities for styling, and they teach curly girls that our hair is not boring, or ugly, or “too big”; we are beautiful. I recommend them to all curly girls, young and old. I plan to buy Zoe and Gaïana in the future as well because I’m hooked ❤️

Doll is ok but they ship the cheapest and the longest shipping route. Company customer service is HORRIBLE. Will not buy again.

When I stepped out this Morning finding the box outside my house. I opened the box in the car. I worked all day wondering what she would be like when I officially opened her at home. I wasn't sure how i felt about the doll. When reviewing the doll with other purchasers i was unaware how the hair would be. I do find the hair to be pleasantly nice when combing fresh from the box. The hair is quite beautiful nice. I don't know how it really works now but its a great hair texture. I am pleased with the doll and her features.

I absolutely love this doll….as an adult doll collector, I just love that there are many more options available to people of ethnicity.

I’m an adult collector of 18 inch dolls. I liked Zoe so much I decided she needed a curl friend and Marisol was the perfect choice for my diverse collection. She has been put in the beauty salon and will be played with by my granddaughter and niece when they visit. I recommend both dolls for girls who love to do hair.

Well Zoe is for my 3year old Granddaughter Kennedy Grace she is biracial and has beautiful brown curly hair!! I will give it to her for Christmas I can’t wait to see her on Christmas morning open it!!! I will need to get her some hair accessories so she can fix & play with Zoe!!!
