14-Year Old Entrepreneur Creates Plant-Based Natural Hair Product
Meet Zhanyia McCullough, the 14-year-old founder and CEO of Islande Beauty, who supports healthy natural hair practices with her new product!
Islande Beauty’s mission is to empower the community to adopt healthy beauty practices and inspire girls and women to find their inner voice and beauty.
Zhanyia created Islande Beauty New Hair Growth Oil to improve the health of her own natural hair. Zhanyia combined her love for science and hair to create a plant-based hair growth oil for natural hair.
Zhanyia shared with Black Business how she struggled with low self-esteem and loving her hair, her appearance, and her confidence. Learning to love her natural hair, she created her product to aid the health of her hair while also helping other people love and care for their natural hair.
In previous blogs, Zoe shared eight ways to grow long natural hair and ten ways to make your child’s hair grow faster, but Zhanyia has introduced a new ingredient.
Her hair growth oil is the first in the companies Pracaxi Oil and Kalahari Melon Collection. The product uses the Kalahari melon seeds, a fruit found in South Africa, that aids the circulation in the scalp and promotes hair growth. Healthy natural hair will always be the goal. We love how Zhanyia is representing young entrepreneurs and creating a new product on the market for natural hair women all over. Click here to shop Islande Beauty Hair growth oil for curly natural hair.
